TREASURY DEALER- 1 POSITION
Working under the Head of Treasury, the incumbent will be responsible to facilitate efficient conduct of foreign exchange and money market operations of the Bank in the most profitable manner and achieve the budgeted FX and treasury income by;
FX merchant cover trading operations with the objectives of maximizing fx profit.
Profitable deployment of excess funds in TZS and FCY
Management/ placement of TZS/ FCY funds within statutory/internal limits.
Marketing of Treasury products to customers
Preparation of weekly reports on Treasury for circulation to clients and management.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Graduates in Banking, Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Mathematics with high grades.
EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
A minimum of 2 years banking experience, of which at least 1 year in the Treasury front Office.
Quick quantitative skills of financial interpretation
Understanding of financial market.
Strong evaluation, communication and reporting skills
Able to provide advice and cause/effect evaluation to support business decision making.
Build relationships and networks easily
Strong service ethics
ASSISTANT TREASURY DEALER- 2 POSITIONS
Reporting to the Treasury Dealer, the incumbent will be responsible for providing assistance an all functions using investment skills and business acumen.
Constantly review the corporate financial transactions/position and initiate necessary action.
 Managing the treasury cash management system.
Assist in marketing of treasury products to customers.
Assist in preparing weekly reports on Treasury for circulation to client.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Banking, Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Mathematics with high grades
EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
A minimum of 1 year banking experience with good academic records particularly in mathematics and economics. (work experience can be waived for candidates with exceptional educational qualifications).

CREDIT CLERKS(2 POSITIONS)
Tanzania Postal Bank (TPB) seeks to appoint dedicated, self motivated and highly organized
Clerks (2 position) to join the Retail and Business Banking Directorate. The work station is Dar es Salaam and Geita.
Reporting Line: Credit/Relationship Officer /Branch Manager.
Locations: Kariakoo and Geita.
Work Schedule: As per TPB Staff regulations.
Division:Credit
Salary: Commensurate to the Job Advertised
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
                                                                                                                                i.            To record all inward and outward mails/loan application forms from employers, and dispatch loan application forms to employers for guarantees.
                                                                                                                             ii.            To scrutinize loan applications and ensure that all pre-disbursement conditions are fulfilled before sent to superiors for approvals.
                                                                                                                           iii.            To maintain borrowers’ files brought to Head office for approvals.
                                                                                                                           iv.            To maintain system database for all approved loans at branches, advise the respective branches via reliable approved means of communication and maintain records of the respective approvals for reference and.
                                                                                                                              v.            To assist the Branch Manager and Credit/Relationship officers in liaising with centralized employers for prompt follow up of due installment deductions from employers.
                                                                                                                           vi.            To assist branches in follow up with employers for collection of cheques and establishment of reasons for non-repayment.
                                                                                                                         vii.            To attend any other duties as may be assigned by your superiors.
